HOW TO GET 7+ BAND IN IELTS

IELTS – The international English language testing system. People who wish to study or work where English is used as the main language of communication needs to qualify IELTS, which measures the language proficiency of those people. In order to identify the levels of proficiency, it uses a nine-band scale. Band score from 1 to 9 is from a user to experts respectively.

TWO TEST VERSIONS:

ACADEMIC – It is basically for people who want to apply for higher education or professional registration abroad.

GENERAL TRAINING-It is for those who wish to migrate to Australia, Canada, UK etc. or for secondary education, training program and work experience in an English speaking environment.

Each individual IELTS skill (listening, reading, writing and speaking) gets a band score in this range. Students also get an overall band score of the whole test. The composite score is the average of the student’s individual score.

FOR CANADA- As stated by IRCC, to gain a Canada PR visa, it is important for proving your language proficiency. For Canada PR visa 6 band score in each module (listening, reading, writing and speaking) is the minimum requirement.
